Healthy 3 beans 1 Grain Honey Dates Longans Dessert Soup, Home Cooked Re...

Searching through my pantry and fridge, I found several items that I can mix to cook a healthy dessert meal. With the mix of 3 types of beans (red beans, green beans & barley), brown rice, dried longans, honey dates and molasses (as sweeteners). 

 The beans were soaked a hour earlier, I prepared this dessert soup after my dinner. After brought to boil all the ingredients in a pot for 1/2 hour, I transferred the dessert soup into a thermal cooker and left the soup there overnight.  It will be cooked by itself in the thermal cooker. 

 I had it for my breakfast and lunch the next day. This dessert soup can be kept in the fridge for 3 days. I will take the desire portion out from the pot to warm it up if I prefer it to be served warm or else this dessert soup can be served cold.
