It's weekend again. Only weekends or public holiday I have got the chance to do some baking. I decided to try on the green tea powder (matcha) that I bought from Cosway a couple of weeks ago.
I reduced the use of green tea powder to 1/3 from the recipe that I found from the internet simply for my kids, they are not used to having tea, by having the full dose of 3 Tbsp of green tea powder would be too much for them to enjoy this cake.
The cake turned out to be brownish in colour rather than green as expected. But I am satisfied with its texture, moist and spongy, with mild green tea flavour. I love it.
