Chicken with Tomatoes

For home cooking, we always choose to be as simple and as less ingredients as possible.  Just as this one, Chicken with Tomatoes, it is the most frequent dish that we serve as home.
Not spicy, just nice for my kids, and I simply love tomatoes.

The basic ingredients : Chicken meat, Tomatoes & Onions

A never failed Fried Chicken recipe

Premix fried chicken seasoning flour is our choice when comes to frying chicken at home.  Once tasted, you will fall in love with it because I found it to be better than those friend chicken sold at the shops.

Methods of cooking :
Just coat the chicken parts with the premix seasoning flour
fry in the preheat oil frying pan. Turn occasionally so the chicken parts are evenly cooked through.
dish out and serve

Bitter Gourd with Salted Black Beans

This is the most common way of cooking bitter gourd - The combination of Bitter Gourd with Salted Black Beans and Garlic.  It is also my favourite.

My home cooked Bitter Gourd is simply satisfying...The salted black beans do not overpower the bitterness of the bitter gourd, it is just a nice complement to its bitterness.

Minced beef mushroom capsicum

It does not look nice under the dim light...but the taste is good.

I created this dish with the leftover ingredients from our home baked pizza and bread.  The Capsicum and minced beef were the topping for pizzas, I got to consume them before they turn stale.

Roti kahwin and Teh C

One of the popular breakfast, lunch, tea break, dinner and supper here is Roti Kahwin served with teh C or one might choose Tenom coffee or Teh Tarik (milk tea).

Patola vegetable fruit home cooked style

There is a sweetness in patola itself, I simply add some sliced carrots and sauteed with garlic, add some water to bring out the juice from the patula.  Add some salt and light soy sauce to taste.  A juicy dish for the day.

Bayam vegetable balls soup

Bayam / spinach soup can be ready in minutes unlike many other soups that need more times or some up to hours to slow boil.  Since Bayam is the main vegetable here, you could replace vegetable balls with other ingredients like meat balls, fish ball, pork, chicken or beef.

Please watch below slides for the steps to preparing my version of Bayam soup.
